Good Morning all....

We are coming down to STJ in a week and have a day trip to the BVI booked for 2/15 on Bad Kitty (Calypsovi). Now that the cruise schedule is posted it looks like 2/15 is a heavy cruise ship day. Do you think it would be better to go on 2/14 when there are only 2 ships in port? I just wondered if a heavy cruise day would make the BVI points of interest super crowded??

Thanks in advance for you input and advice!!

(By the way.....I can't wait to come....it's going to be in the single digits here next week!! 🙂 )

The BVI trips are really not time friendly to most cruise sheeple - you may want to check the Tortola Cruise ship schedule.

We have found that the Tortola ships bring people to Jost, so we try and avoid those days

Thanks to both of you for mentioning that....I hadn't even thought of the port in Tortola. It looks like there are 2 ships in port on 2/15 in Tortola, but none on 2/16. I might have to switch my booking.

Thanks for the advice and local expertise.

We plan on taking a day trip to the BVI's also. Definitely gonna make sure no ships are in Tortola the day we book. Not sure how many cruisers from St Thomas make that trip but agree with the other poster about possible time constraints for"sheeple"(I used to be one, always hated that word)
