My wife and I are going back to St. John for our fourth time. This time we are bringing my in-laws and thinking about doing some inter-island traveling which we have never done before. Just wondering what people's opinions were on where to go and what to see. We will be there the week of 5/12-5/19. Thanks in advance

I would absolutely spend a day on/around Jost Van Dyke. As beautiful as the beaches of STJ, Jost has some stunners too, along with well known spots like the Soggy Dollar bar and Foxy's. A very nice way to check these out is on a chartered catamaran. Talk about easygoing luxury! We went on the Scubadu the last time we were there and had such a great time visiting Jost and just enjoying the sailing that we booked a second day for later in the week (and went all the way to the Willy T--not a normal offering but we twisted Joe's arm).

For our upcoming trip, we're thinking of just ferrying over and spending the day lounging at Foxy's/Soggy Dollar and also making our way over to the Bubbly Pool. Check that out about mid-way down the activities section of this page:

Enjoy your trip!

We were in St John a year ago November and took a tour of the Baths at Virgin Gorda and snorkeled at Norman Island! It was absolutely beautiful! Make sure you have a passport!

the tour of the baths is awesome as well as the beach that you go to. Snorkeling around Norman island is great, some of the best i've seen in the virgin islands. Jost van dyke is absolutely beautiful also. You will love all of these places so I guess try to see as much of them as you can.
