Hi everyone,

I am new to this site, I had been using another site but I was having issues posting responses and then someone told me about this site. Anyway, my hubby and I are going to STT in July and we are thinking about staying at the Best Western Emerald Beach Resort. Has anyone else stayed there? And if so, how did you like it? Thanks

It's a great beach, but too close to the airport (across the street from the runway) for my tastes...never been in the rooms...

Marty's right - and it's really one of those places which we think more in terms of being a "layover" than a vacation hotel. Coming in July you should be able to find something affordable in a more convenient area. You might want to look into Sapphire or Secret Harbour as alternatives. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful visit. Cheers!

We have stayed at BWemerald beach several years. Did not go last yr. Best value for the money. Beautiful beach with rooms and patio's right on the beach. Rooms clean but a little outdated. Everyone there were very accommodating. Planes are no problem. Only a few around 4:00 pm and noise is only for a few seconds. Restaurant on site was good. Beach bar was a lot of fun. Ate there several times and food was good. No comparison to Secret Harbor, which we have stayed at also. They are condos and most are updated more frequently. You can send me a PM if you need more info. Hope this helps.
