Has anyone stayed at this villa? could you please let us know what you think and if the villa and hot tub is clean, etc.?

Also, how are the people at VRBO? Any problems or do you like them?
Thanks

MickB,

We stayed at Cameron Cove in January 2007. The villa is in a lovely location, and is a short walk to a private
beach. There is good snorkling around Pelican Rock. It is all the way out on the East End, which some might see
as a negative, but others might enjoy the quiet, private location.

The hot tub is one of those soft-sided things. It never got very hot, but it was adequate. The stargazing
was phenomenal!

The house itself is cute, but small. There is no ac, and even in January it would get hot as the house
gets the afternoon sun.

In all, we enjoyed our stay there. The East End is almost like a different island.
BTW, lots of goats. They were our wake up call : )

Thanks Cptvic.
We've stayed at East End and love it. Not many places like that left.
We made our reservations and she (linda) seems nice.

Sloop: We'll see ya in December.

We stayed there April 06. They are Sloop Jones neighbor.

Newer house, cute, nice deck, I thought the hot tub was too small to use, 2nd bedroom bath bigger and nicer than master. Bed in master bedroom was very hard, and as mentioned, house gets hot, must use fans provided. Few other things that I hope have since been corrected - cheapo coffee maker prone to overflow and broken beach chairs - had to go rent from Crabbys.

Good things = great views and some of the best snorkeling on the island at Pelican Rock via short walk down to rocky beach, plus great snorkeling very short ride 2-3 hills over at Haulover North (on calm days).

Nice to be able to easily do these great snorkels at spur of moment / mulitple times / different times of day.
If you enjoy your snorkeling, this would make up for lack of amenities.
