GOOD AFTERNOON! Does anyone know if it is difficult to get a taxi from Christiansted over to Carambola on Friday night for the buffet and then of course catch a taxi back to Christiansted around 9 or 9:30 p.m.??? I was just wondering if it got a lot of people from other hotels and resorts that a taxi would be readily available.

I can't think of a reason you couldn't get a taxi to Carambola. If you have the cash they'll provide the ride. You might want to make arrangements with your driver to pick you up for the return trip.

Where will you be staying? Your hotel can fix you up with a taxi there and you can arrange with the driver to be picked up. But it will be expensive, I'm thinking maybe $30 one way for two... ask in advance.

The jumbie show and dancing after are fun. The food...not so great. Carambola (Davis Bay) is a lovely spot.
