i bought calling cards from the US post office about 5 years ago and still use them down there. they are never expiring. just watch the hotel you stay at that they may charge like 2.50 for each call. even though it is calling an 800 number

You must have verizon. Buy some calling cards and use them. You can get them down here. Or if you are going to be here a while by a track phone.

That is why you should always check your text before sending.

Bill: I would bet there is some place in Red Hook to buy phone cards. There is a Radio Shack at Buccaneer Mall near the cruise ship dock in Havensite. Lots of crew in there so they must have some sort of phone biz going. Or, you can get an iPhone real quick!;)

Not true, AT&T has no roaming charges in STT...I own a condo in Mahogany Run and spend a lot of time there. I have never incurred ANY charges for ANY calls while in STT. The BVI's, however, are another story...huge fees for calling.

pooh: He has Verizon, not AT&T. I was trying to sell him on getting AT&T. As an aside, the ads from the states are amusing down here because Verizon is not supported and AT&T rocks. I have never had any problems with AT&T when I go to the states either. Those ads that say they cover 97% of people in America seem to be accurate. Well, not that I go to that many places there....

Bill: Corona hat...now you have been outed.;)

We found some of the non-covered 3% in the mountains of Colorado.
