Are there any cheap cell phone companies on the island? I currently use Cricket and I know it won't work when I get there.

are you moving down or a visiting nurse. If you are moving down for a short time then there are pre paid companines. Also, Cricket might let you out of the contract since they do not have coverage. Then get Sprint. It has no roaming down here.

AT&T does not have roaming charges in the VI's.....plus you get worldwide coverage....and you can add an iPhone with Internet service.
