My husband and I are coming in January with our kids who's ages are 14 and 11 and would love to rent/charter a boat with a captain for the day to take us to some great snorkeling spots and bars in/around Jost Van Dyke. Any suggestions on who to go through that would be reasonably priced, knowledgeable of the area and friendly?:-)
I would suggest See N Ski, Nauti Nymph or Water's Edge... they're the companies that I see out the most and the captains are knowledgeable about the islands and where to go... I'm not sure about pricing on them, but I'm assuming that they're affordable since they're the most frequently used!

It does help somewhat, but have you heard of Hookin N Crookin?
JD--Hookin N Crookin is Jersey Bob, located in Red Hook. He's a nice guy. My top pick for charters like these is captain Rick with Lion in Da Sun--he's an owner-operator. His number is 340-626-4783.
