I am looking for a cheap but clean hotel, nothing fancy, for just a couple of nights in November. I am moving to St. Thomas and want to come for three days to take a look at a couple of apartments and for job interviews. Any suggestions on where I can hang for a couple of days?

You need to post this on the Relocation Board (at the top of the page on the right) as this is where such answers will be found- many of them!

Cori,
the Best Western Carib Beach might suit your needs. We used it as a temporary stop between sailing trips.
Very close to airport, some would say too close, but our room was virtually soundproof.
Nothing fancy, no real beach, but a clean place to sleep, shower and explore from. ( I went to VI for the beaches, not the room!) BW also has another property at Emerald Bay, a little bit more updated I believe.

only "complaint" would be the front desk is always on island time!
hope this helps

I highly recommend the Green Iguana! It was so cozy and comfortable and very reasonable! Check it out!
