Hello there!

During our last visit to St. Thomas, I purchased a hook bracelet for my daughter. I bought it at a shop where they had a coupon for these hook bracelets that were small enough for a child to wear (she is 7). Over the summer she left it in a hotel during another vacation, and although the hotel manager promised on several occassions that it was 'in the mail,' we never received it. Does anyone know the name of the store in downtown Charlotte Amalie that sells child size silver hook bracelets?

I appreciate any information that anyone can provide.

Lisa

Lisa - So sorry to hear your daughter never got her bracelet back - - people stink sometimes!

I'm not sure about the store in CA, but there's a store in Red Hook called Dolphin Dreams that had the widest array of hook bracelets that I saw anywhere (I bought one there -- wearing it now!). Here is their phone number. I would bet she has child's bracelets too.

Phone: 340.775.0549

Lil,

Sonja's (or is it Sonya's) in Christainstad, STX has all sizes of the Cruszan bracklet in either gold or silver. They close with C clasp. Very small store but think there is a web site. You can probably measure your daughter's wrist and order on on-line. The neat thing is, you can trade it in for a larger one when she outgrows it.

Lili,

My daughter (8) has a hook bracelet from Dolphin Dreams in Red Hook. I believe Cardow also has hooks and is in CA.

I like the ladies at Dolphin Dreams - very helpful and friendly. Good luck!! Sorry about the misplaced bracelet:(

I bought those bracelets for my daughters...but didn't tell the correct story to my oldest one.
I told her to wear it so that it means she is still looking.....even tho she has been with a looser boyfriend way too long!!
She did tell him the story....& what I told her to do........maybe that's why he doesn't like me too much!!

They both wear their bracelets alot & they think it's sooo cool cuz they saw Kenny & his whole band wears them too!

Ohhhhh....did I say the "K" word....my bad!!!

I also have bought childrens Hook Braclets at Dolphin Dreams in Red Hook. They also have a great selection of Hook Rings. That was the only place that I could find Gold Hook Rings. We were staying in CA and did not have a car and the woman at Dolphin Dreams offered to send the ring by taxi to our hotel. We decided to take taxi there and made purchases, then ate at Molly Malones. Best selection of any that I had seen and I think I hit every jewelry store in STT. LOL

Dolphin Dreams also has conch shell jewelry - you can't tell it's made from a shell, it looks like some kind of pink gem. Really beautiful and they have very chic designs. It is my mom's favorite store on STT.

Dolphin Dreams is also my favorite store. I purchases my hook bracelet from them as well. But my teenage daughter loves sea glass as we live in OCNJ and this past spring Dolphin Dreams had polished seaglass wrapped in silver wire. It is a great pendant piece and she gets many compliments on her unique piece. I should have bought two. What a reason to go back! Melissa
