For those who usually dive with Chris's operation, he closed the doors last week.

Was this the place in Red Hook, right next to Molly Malone's?

That was one of his locations, yes. I called his number 777-7804 and the answering machine just asked that I leave a message...nothing about them being closed. I would think that if they were closing for good, he'd have it on the machine...or have the phone disconnected...wouldn't he?

I have known this operation since about 20 years ago. It is a sorry thing that he is closed.

Yep, store in Red Hook closed for now with a possibility of a new operator in near future and CS in Caneel Bay, St. John is still open for now.

I'm sad to hear that he has closed. I purchased all of my PADI workbooks from him. He is a nice man and I wish him the best. Hopefully he closed to move on to a new life adventure.

I took a quick look at the web site and they point you to the Caneel Bay STJ location. I'd love to hear the story behind the closure of the St. Thomas location.

Cheers, RickG

Shocking news! We recently bought some stuff from him, no word from him!

The St Thomas store is closed, the Caneel Bay store remains open. If Chris didn't talk about it, maybe we should leave it alone.
