3 weeks from today we will be there! Our two-family group is going to be on St. John over the holidays, and I have a couple of questions. First, are stores and restaurants mostly open or closed on Christmas Day and the day after (Boxing Day, which I understand is a holiday as well)? Also, any special Christmas events/displays we should see while we're there?

Responding to my own post to bump it up on the list! Does anyone know if there are any restaurants/stores that will be open on Christmas Day and the day after? Any special events on those days that we shouldn't miss?

Its pretty quiet for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If you're there a day or so beforehand, just ask around. Morgan's Mango is usually open but with a very limited menu and kinda pricey. Don't know about the day after Christmas.

We have reservations on Christmas day at Paradiso in Mongoose Junction. They took reservations 2 weeks ago. Merry Christmas!
