I am planning a short 7 day holiday for May. We are looking at Cinnamon Bay Campground's Bare Tent Sites.

We are wondering if the store at Cinnamon Bay carries Charcoal for the grills provided for baresites? What about other camping necessites? I would rather buy some stuff there than lug it from home!

They do list camping supplies although there's no details.

Enjoy. One of my favorite beaches. We've never stayed there, but it's on our list. One of these times we want to stay in that last group of cottages that's just steps from the beach. Nothing fancy, but that's okay with us.

Hey Tammy....good choice. The best (inexpensive) vacation in the entire Caribbean! My wife and I stayed there earlier this year for one night. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice facilities and one of the best beaches on the island. If I recall correctly, each site has it's own grill. The store is well stocked so I'm sure they sell charcoal. Enjoy.

Hi Tammy,
Cinnamon Bay is great. I used to get a bare site there 20 years ago and paid $4.00 a night... what an absolute great place. It's because of the wonderful time I had there then that I am taking my wife to St. John for her first time in March... although we'll be doing a B&B and not a bare site! The older I get, the wimpier I get! LOL I know it didn't answer your question, but I hope it encourages you to indeed stay there.
