OK, you're a busy lady. You've got to plan a wedding. You've got to plan your November trip too (so green with envy), but...

FINISH THE REPORTS! I know you were there until the 7th, and even without Geoff, I'm sure there was SOMETHING noteworthy about the rest of your trip 🙂

I know!! It is taking me forever - sorry. Had a very busy weekend of trail hiking in the Wissahickon - and we climbed a waterfall near our home (Gabbi and I). Life is like one looooong adventure! 🙂

LandLockedBeachLover,
VERY CAREFULLY!!! LOL! Actually, I have done it many times! In upstate NY there are many waterfalls that are gradual, not straight up. While I was up in Ithaca we saw a few beautiful waterfalls, but only walked the trails. Very picturesque!

Blu,
I too, am looking for the last of your report! I promise to be patient! 🙂 I still have to go back and see the last of KK's report as well! Off for a walk to Dorothea Beach and back and then to start my day! Have a wedding at 5pm at Magen's, they want only orange and yellow for flower decorations on their isle and arch, so I have have a lot of searching to do!

hah a - yes, we were careful, and the waterfall was very gradual, not one of those straight down deals. It leveled out as a pool every 20 feet or so....so we weren't going straight up the entire time. There were maybe 10 pools and 10 cascades. We didn't get too wet. We climbed the rocks aside the falls, not in the falls We did cross the waterway a few times, so our shoes did get wet. There were wild rasberry bushes growing along the way. A really nice day.

Sherri, orange and yellow sounds so beautiful. It made me think of the Stone Cottage - and your bedding decisions! 🙂

Oh yes, cleaned SC yesterday for an arrival and I am still in love with the color choices! Found some little goodies in the states...little bucket candles in the 3 colors (yellow, orange and green) as well as toothpick containers (set of 3 complete with toothpicks) for $1.99!!!! You KNOW I couldn't resist! lol! I wanted scented drawer paper to put in both places and had a hard time finding it, but finally got some in TJ Max and found some to actually match both places! My SC guests that arrived yesterday are allowing me to go down in the yard later today to pick yellow and orange flowers, very kind of them!! I am guessing they will most likely be out anyway. Just have to find some orange Bougainvillea now!
By the way, Bed, Bath, and Beyond has a beautiful Tropical bedroom set in pinks, greens, a goldish yellow and lavender with palms and flowers! I loved it, but not the right colors for our places, ck it out Blu! My mother got it for her bedroom and it looks awesome!
Where were the waterfalls you went to? Close to home?

So glad your bedding dilema is over and Stone Cottage is now deliciously dressed in tropical duds 🙂

Waterfall is about 10 mins from home - on the edge of the city, if you can believe that. Philadelphia has done a wonderful job with the preservance of the park systems - and private groups keep the trails sustained. Park runs through the wealthiest neighborhood in Philadelphia (not my neighborhood :)- the nest neighborhood over). That helps - when the judges and politicians live in the park, essentially.

Missing the Pretroglyphs on STJ, though. History in both Philadelphia (obvious historic value as Nation's birthplace - Declaration of Independence) and STJ (slave revolt - The Night of the Silent Drums) is as fascinating as anything gets.

Welcome home, hon! Hope your trip as nice. Sorry our meet-point was so far!!

Blu,
I too, was disappointed the meet point was so far away! Next time, I'll just have to make a pit stop in Philly!!!!

Hey Gobucs,
Thanks for the offer! Do they have a web page? Will let you know if I can think of anything! August will be here soon!
