Anybody know any islands that don't have coconuts? I am allergic to them but I want to vacation in the islands. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean you have a reaction by just being near coconuts? I doubt you will find any inhabited island/place in the tropics or sub-tropics that is totally devoid of them. There are rocks sticking out of the water that don't have coconuts but I don't think they are vacation spots...Big Brass & Little Brass right out my living room window come to mind BUT there is NOTHING there.

ParrotHead, I just viewed a picture of Inner brass and Outer brass and they both have Coconuts Palms.

Mike what about Coconuts that you are alegic to. Is it eating the coconut or just coming into contact with the palms???

I believe Shemya, one of the last islands of the Aleutian chain, does not have coconuts. There does appear to be a problem though, with seal dander.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Shouldn't make light of allergies. I've become allergic to WORK myself.

Blue Island or Rock Island, Illinois have no coconuts. No palm trees either.

Mike, bear with this forum. There are a lot of nuts lurking around.... all in the spirit of fun.

Don't forget, Staten Island has no coconuts either. 😉

Rhode Island is pretty safe from the coco variety of nuts, won't promise it is free of any other kind of nut after all half the population has been through Cranston.
