We are going to be staying next to coki beach. I've heard that there is a problem with people selling drugs there. Is this a safe beach to go to?

Coki is safe. It is my favorite "commercial beach" on St Thomas. You have no worry about problems there.

Hello Maria,

The area you pass through to get to Coki and to the resort next door, Palace Resort, is residential and does have some issues including folks selling marijuana. These folks stay off to a corner hanging out for the most part. To answer your question - yes the beach is safe to go to and yes what you heard is accurate. If you are approached, which can happen, just say no thanks and thats it.
