How is the construction noise at present? Still 2 jackhammers going all day in Serendip/Jacob's Ladder area?

I guess I never understood the concern with construction noise. I want to get up and get out every day. Drive to Coral Bay, hit a beach or 2 or 3, happy hour in town, a little shopping. There is so much to do that I don't plan on being around when they are working. If I do, I willk be drinking rum by the pool and not mush will bother me 😉
I would imagine that almost everywhere you go there is the chance of some construction noise.

Well, I can understand being on vacation and not wanting to hear construction...but, that's how things get built so we CAN vacation! Haha! But, I believe BFPBrady was asking if there is still contruction happenig in the Serendip'Jacob's Ladder area...does anyone know?

That construction is still in high dudgeon and one never knows what the crew will do from day to day. Looks like it will be ongoing for quite awhile. Even when there is no rock breaking, the shape of the valley results in plenty of sounds regardless.

A few weeks ago, complaints about rockbreaking did resurface - but generally the construction noises of hammering, sawing, diesel trucks moving about, etc. are a part of the atmosphere for everyone. If you want peace and quiet, avoid that area. They can work weekends, and they start early in the AM.

If you won't be home most of the day anyway, have fun in the place of your choice!
