Hi everyone, New to this board.
We have stayed in the Rendezvous area of SJ several times but always seem to spend more time in Coral Bay which to me is like another country! love it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a villa in Coral Bay for 2 couples with pool, great views and most importantly, A/C in the bedrooms. I have found in my searching that a lot of the villas in Coral Bay although great looking do not have A/C. We head down in May, and have found A/C in the bedrooms is a must for us.
Appreciate any help you can give me.

if the villa is fairly high up in the hills, our experience has been that a/c is not necessary...i was a little chilly at night with the windows open. and i definitely would have been freezing in a pool - the hot tub was perfect. we stayed at sunrise, through great caribbean getaways.

We stayed in Bay House, which is in Coral Bay, over Christmas. It has two master bedrooms on the lower level, each with its own master bathroom, and each with its own a/c. Even though we had a nice breeze blowing through the house, I can't imagine not having a/c in the bedrooms. But that is us, we like our bedroom cold.

The pool, over Christmas time, was to cool to swim in though, as it doesn't get enough sun throughout the day. I don't know how it will be in May...hopefully warmer.

The Bay House is right above Aqua Bistro and Cocoloba (sp ?) shopping center. It might not be private enough for some, but it was just fine for us. We loved staying there and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Good luck in your planning!!

This is one of my favourite villas on STJ right now. It is not in Coral Bay but close to Chateau Bordeaux restaurant so you are in the middle of Cruz Bay and Coral Bay so easy acess to both and close to the Smoothie stand which is where you would turn to go to the North Shore Beaches. I love it.

Hope this helps

Pia,
I love the look of the villa. Does the great room have a cathedral ceiling? It's hard to tell from the one picture they show.
Also, it says they won't rent more than 90 days out. Does that mean that it is for sale?

Yes it is for sale - 2.1 million so if you would like to view it on your trip give me a call (I 'm a Realtor so is hubby 🙂 ) Anyway it does have a vaulted ceiling if that helps

We just got back a few weeks ago from beautiful St. John. While there we stayed at Coral Rays from Destination St. John. Loved it , and it was private enough for us and fairly new. Maybe it is to big for 2 couples but I think you would love it. it is a drive "UP" but the views are well worth it and it is the Coral Bay area.
