Can someone give me an idea of how much things like a beer, mixed drink, burger etc will be on St John in October? Wish I had not started planning this trip so soon, as I CAN"T wait.

This is a little bit of a guess, but drinks are not much more than the states for similar items. The big difference it that you'll be really tempted to try some NEW items. Drinks at a bar: Beer $3 - $4 Mixed Drinks (call brands - rum and diet for example) - $6 Specialty drinks can go $7 for Frozen up to $14 for shared specialty drinks Burgers probably $8 - $9.

Good Luck - Have Fun!

Hi Pia,

What kind of beer does Woody's serve for $1. Good deal! I'm not picky for $1, just curious.

Blu I believe it's the American brews. I believe I've paid 1.00 for a miller and a bud.

I know Bud is only $1.00 as my family just drank 48 of them !!! (for a total bill of $48.00 🙂 ) Corona is $1.00 off so it is not included at the $1.00 price but they have a list posted as to what is $1.00. Happy Hour is daily from 3pm until 6pm 🙂

I wasn't on island even, but there were 11 of them - and that was only half of the happy hour time frame - they then stayed for food (and of course more beer 🙂 ) and I think the bill bill that night was close to $300.00 !!!!

That is so easy to do at Woody's. When our party of 6 finally pulled ourselves out of Woody's with drinks, dinner, and T-shirts we were well over $300. But the fun was priceless!

Don't worry about buying beer either at a bar, or at any of the markets. It's actually pretty reasonable compared to some other islands.

You should worry more about the price of water. I found that really expensive, but a necessity.
