We are taking the Westin Ferry from Crown Bay to the hotel in September. Can anyone tell me if the marina is within walking distance of the Crown Bay shopping center?

Most definitely. When you get off the Westing ferry, turn left, short walk to the street, cross the street, go thru the gates. You are there.

Very close by, only about a 3 min walk or so. If there are no cruise ships docked at Crown Bay, not much will be open other then a few restaurants.

And if you have a few minutes, maybe while you are waiting for the ferry to go back to the Westin, have a drink at Tickles Pub there at the Marina... fun!

gin4: Not sure what you are looking for, but there is a gourmet grocery store, a great bar/restaurant (Tickles), an AT&T store, a hair salon and several other businesses right where the Westin ferry docks.
