I plan on visiting St. Thomas and St. John mid part of June and want to find out how many cruise ships will be visiting the islands during that time. Is there a site i can go to that has the schedule? Thanks

Try this - I found this site just recently, you can check farther out than other cruise ship schedules I have seen.

That's great! I try to avoid the cruise population as much as possible. Just seeing the way too many of the passengers behave when they're in port has cemented my decision to never go on a Caribbean cruise.

Hi,
I noticed that when I'm there is late June, there is 1-2 cruise ships there daily, is there a certain time that they are in port? Any tips? There is one day that there isn't any, maybe that will be the day I go to Trunk Bay!

Typically ships come in around 7:30-800 and leave around 5 or six...lately, though, some have been staying later. And the days without ships are great days to go to Charlotte Amalie for shopping and to beaches like Trunk or Magens due to there not being nearly as many people. Enjoy!

Thanks Marty! I almost forgot about shopping in St. Thomas, that might be a better choice for the day without any cruise ships, although I should not complain. I was looking through the cruise ship calendar and read that sometimes there are as many as 8 ships in port. I should consider myself lucky! I would like to ask you one more question since you live there, how is the island is June, weather, crowds, bugs, etc? Thanks,

-Darlene

In my nine years of living here, the busiest day I've seen is 13 ships...ugh! 6 and 8 is not at all uncommon...
