Hey all. I will be in St. Thomas in a few weeks and am trying to make final decision on where to stay. Can anyone tell me the difference between these two properties that I found on hotels.com? They are:

Crystal Cove Villas - $139/night

Antilles Resorts @ Crystal Cove - $169/night

any different from Paradise Properties Crystal Cove @ Sapphire Bay West - $135 - 195/night?

Also difference between:

Bolongo Bay Beach Club Condos - $145/night

Private Owner Condo at Bolongo Beach (Suite) - $160/night

Watergate Villas - $135/night

Any help is greatly appreciated. Would like to stay on beach. Friends are getting married at Magen's Bay and looking for a place for myself, my fiance, and another groomsman.

Any other suggestions / ideas on where to stay?

Hey - greetings from a chilly blighty.

We stayed at Crystal Cove around this time last year and it was brilliant.

I think all the appartments at Crystal Cove are time shares, and various companies let them to you and I - so I think it probably doesn't make too much difference who you go with.

Seem to remember that we got a free night thrown in for paying for 6 nights.

One tip...there are no facilities on the beach at CC (which means its quiet = good) so if you want water sports etc just walk around to Sapphire and use theirs.

Also, if you are going to breakfast at the restaurant on the beach (expensive - all you can eat buffet) do a deal with the manageress for the week and save lots of $$.

Very jealous - would love to go back soon.

Have fun, and hope the wedding goes well,

Brian.

Hello,

As mentioned Crystal Cove Villas and Antilles at Crystal Cove are two agents renting different rooms at the same property. Brian's description is accurate - its a quiet place very close to Sapphire Beach, small pond with docks in the middle the rooms form a semi-circle around it.

The two Bolongo Properties seem to be the same deal. There is a trip report about Bolongo recently - do a search for it.

You can also look into Secret Harbor and Emerald Beach Resort.
