Is it okay to bring children on a day sail to St. John? Thinking about the daydreamer.

Depends on ages of kids and whether they are prone to sea sickness and can be kept happily occupied during a full day trip. Day Dreamer takes quite a few people so consider if your kids will disrupt or enhance their pleasure as well.

My kids loved the day sailing experience and the taste of it turned my oldest into a sailing fan. My youngest wanted more running around until she was 10 or 12, then settled into it. Personalities matter.

Daydreamer is a 55' catamaran, so she should be flat and steady. St. John is upwind, so you'll likely be under motor to start, with a nice downwind sail back.

Cheers, RickG
