Hello Ginger,

Yes, Miracle on Main Street is December 15th this year; I had called the Chamber of Commerce and double checked a few weeks ago.

For those unfamiliar with it; its a day-evening when the shops in downtown Charlotte Amalie stay open late and offer specials sales for the holidays. There are live bands playing along the main street, vendors selling drinks/food and local crafts, usually a few choirs and carolers as well as dance groups.

Hello Flafamily,

Are you talking about the St. John Singers Concerts? If so, yes its their 25th anniversary and they are planning a big holiday concert at the Westin, I believe its scheduled for December 17, with the same concert probably being performed also in Coral Bay. They are also planning a Mozart concert in late October or early November. I haven't received final details as yet about either concert.

Hi Islander,

I think it is something different. Last year it was a three evening event held on the ball fields. They had a different type music each night and everyone brought chairs/blankets. Was hoping it was going to be an anuual event since we try to make it down there each year around the same time.

Hello Flafamily,

The 2nd Annual St. John Christmas Music Festival will be on December 2nd and 3rd. The concerts will be held in Winston Wells Ballfield and will be free. There will be a Christmas Parade for all children on Sunday the 3rd at 6pm and Santa will arrive to give all of them presents. The musicians aren't all lined up yet, stay tuned for that information in a few weeks.
