Does anyone know of a business that rents dingy's in STX?

Don't know of any. You might try the St. Croix Yacht Club and see if they have any suggestions; http://www.stcroixyc.com/.

Jennifer, I asked a STX resident about this and they said the reef system around STX is just very tricky for a newbie so there are no rentals on STX like Noah's Little Arks on STJ. If you are experienced you might be able to find a private boater willing to rent to you but I do know that you can rent kayaks on Salt River on the north side, probably at the Salt River Marina.
