Nice dinner with a view - you could try Mafolie Restaurant, Banana Tree Grill, Herve's or Room with a View. Craig and Sally's is very good too, no view though.

Old Stone Farmhouse, tho no view, the setting is in old ruins and awesome (pricey). Agave Terrace at Point Pleasant is another popular spot. Like Islanders suggestions as well! LOTS of choices. Also hoping the new restaurant on rt 33, where Deano's was will be open by then. Trying to find out more about that......

The original owners of Indigo are opening mid- January and the new name is 13!
They are located on route 33 (Crown Mountain Rd.) in what used to be Deano's most recently.
Not sure of the menu yet, but they will have some of what they used to have when they ran Indigo!
Very excited about this opening! (tu)

Everything depends on what you like!

For the view - Mafolie and Banana Tree are our favorites.

When we want to go "spoil ourselves", we go to Craig & Sally's. Menu changes daily depending on what Sally is able to source and prepare for the week, and we've been 3 times and it's be FABULOUS each time. Craig is the Host and manages the wine list. If you're a wine enthusiast - they've got a great collection. If not - Craig will guide you to the perfect wine with your dinner. No view - but we just love the experience and the meals. It's in Frenchtown. I've been able to get the Lamb Shank on last couple visits - my oh my it's SO wonderful.

Let us know what you DO like/want from this dinner and we can help you out a little more than just general recommendations. Either way - you'll have a great dinner experience - after all, you're on St. Thomas!

Good Luck! Have Fun!

My vote goes for Molly Malone's in Redhook or Fat Turtle if you are staying in town.

Banana Tree Grille - my favorite place for a special dinner for a couple of decades and I've been to most. Chef Patrick has been with the owners since they first opened (same location at Bluebeard's but originally as "Entre Nous." Consistently excellent food, reasonable prices, great service and a most beautiful view. Ask for balcony seating and tell them it's a special occasion - they'll treat you royally. Cheers and, whichever you choose, enjoy!

I'll second that Marty. T&T has the best food of any "biker bar" on the island. And I mean that in a good way.

Old Stone Farm House (on the Mahogany Run Golf Course) for the food
Mafolie for the view
Virgilio's in town for good Italian.

I like Agave Terrace, but it is mostly seafood, which you said you did not want.
