To start a new thread for the question buried below...Yes, there are both in the VI, however they are rare to see. HOWEVER! On Saturday afternoon while on a dive with Chris Sawyer we saw three dolphin at the Tunnels and Arches at Thatch Cay! It was really incredible. They said they had seen dolphin the week before too. Usually the sharks are nurse sharks- they have little thermometers...;-) but occasionally you will see another kind. Very few unprovoked shark attacks, if that is what you are going to ask.

We saw a small shark at Hawksnest beach when we were there in June. It was the first place we stopped to snorkel at! It was small, and was feeding on something and then swam away. There was only that one!
