If you are on STT at Coki Beach try the Mailman's bar for a Melon Midori Daiquiri. Never had anything like it and it works great to get that salty taste out of your mouth from snorkeling.

(There are several variations to this drink's recipe; here are two variations.)

Recipe 1: Ingredients
Bailey's Irish Cream
1 splash of Amaretto
1 splash of Vodka
1 splash of Kahlua
1 splash of Grand Marnier
Nutmeg
Ice

Directions
Fill blender 3/4 with ice

Add a small splash of vodka, a small splash of Grand Marnier. Add a healthy serving of kahlua and a smaller splash of amaretto. Fill the blender with Bailey's until liquid is 1/2 inch from top of ice cubes. Mix until smooth.

Pour into glass and sprinkle with nutmeg!

Recipe 2: Ingredients
2oz Coconut rum
4oz Kahlua
6oz Bailey's Irish Cream
4oz Amaretto
2oz Vodka

Directions
Fill blender 3/4 with ice. Add ingredients, blend. Pour in glass and add some whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Enjoy!!

I'll cast my vote for Recipe 2. Unfortunately, I'll be asleep long before I can finish those 20 oz 8-( ....but it'll sure be fun trying 8-)!!

I've seen a few places that drizzle chocolate sauce down the inside of the glass before they pour in the Bushwacker from the blender. Yummm!

40 days and counting...

I go for the simple drinks:

A double Grand Mariner on the Rocks - Caribbean Ice Tea!

After a couple Life is Good - An all is safe in the world.

If you want to spice it up to a Red Lion (do not recommend till after Lunch)

Red Lion
2 shots Grand Mariner
1 shot of Gin
Juice of 1/2 orange
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Served on the rocks shaken well
Slice of orange and lemon make them pretty
The smaller the ice the better - crushed or shaved is the best

Drink of the island is Guavaberry Liqueur.

Nature's in St.John is a little vendor that sells powerful guavaberry liqueur on ocassion.
The original sweet and spicy concoction that can soothe your soul and stimulate the senses.
Bottles of guavaberry are made in private homes, and exchanged among neighbors and friends during the holidays. Many folks compare recipes, passed down over generations.

When we were in St Martin they sold Guavaberry Liqueur and most places made Guavaberry Coladas with it. We tried some straight and didn't care for it, but the Coladas sure were good!
