Just returned from an Easter break trip w/ the family and Islander sent me a reminder to share so here goes... The condensed version. Arrived from philly Sat 11th starving and stopped and had lunch down town at the Greenhouse, Made are way back to our villa for quick change and headed to secret harbor for a bit. Then Dinner at island time. Woke up Sunday w/ easter baskets for the kids and spent the day it lindquist (smith bay beach park) on way home stopped by sapphire to let kids jump in pool and was denied??? because we were not staying there (that never happened to me before) there were guards everywhere and the place is in bad shape w/ all restaurants and shops not just closed but board ups. Monday took the car ferry to St John and went to Cinnamon where we beached and camped in a tent on the beach for the night. woke up beached a bit and went annaberg and then to skinny legs for lunch, then onto the wyndym and let the kids swim a bit and caught the 5 pm ferry back to St Thomas and Dinner at Littitude 18. spent the next day Coki and dinner at duffy's. The next AM I picked up my 2 day sail charter at Lattitude 18 and made are way to White Bay and did soggy for lunch and drinks, then back to boat for shower and change and back to the beach for bbq at Ivans, then back to boat for nightcap and some sleep, next AM sailed to Sandy spit and some snorkel and the onto Taboo to go see bubbly pool. back to the boat and motor sailed to Sydneys for lunch and then sail back to St Thomas. Saturday went to Ritz for lunch, beach and pool had dinner back at the Villa. Sunday back to Coki and dinner at the mexican restaurant above mollys. woke up monday and did half day at secret harbor then back to the villa for lunch, clean up and mad dash for the airport. GREAT TRIP we all had a great time!

The overnight sail was "forever Young" capt Larry and wife Betty. Taboo is on the east end of Jost and is owned by Foxy's daughter. It's a small outdoor restaurant and dock...Bubbly pool is a natural jacuzzi for lack of better term. There is a gap in the rocks on the Atlantic side of Jost and when the swell comes out of the east the water in forced through the narrow gap and has formed a waist deep pool that is agitated continuously by the water.

Thanks for the trip report, sounds like you all had a great time! I googled "Forever Young USVI" and found a video on Youtube. Looks like an awesome sail boat. How many will it sleep?

Thanks,

Molly
