If you are asking about deals when purchasing electronics in USVI, it has been my experience that deals are not that great when purchasing electronics on STT. This is also somewhat true of cameras.

I am not aware any all in one GPS that comes with maps of USVI. If you have pda, you can buy mapololis and have send you the maps of USVI (2000 version) but that's another story.

You can buy one (e.g., Garmin 76C) at Budget Marine, and get a DC power cord for a cigarette lighter.
