My wife and i will be arriving in St Thomas on 11-13 for 5 days. can someone tell us what the style of dress is for the evening in restaurants? we are trying to figure out what and how much to pack. thanks.

Steve:

Evening dress appears to be whatever you want. Last month we visited STT and saw people in shorts at (nice) restaurants. We wear casual shirts/tops and (long) slacks for the evening.

I only have two pairs of long pants and rarely wear them. I wear shorts sandals and a nice shirt when I "dress up" to go out.

You'll be comfortable most anywhere wearing a polo type shirt or a shirt with a collar and a pair of khakis.
