Thanks to all who responded to my request for some overnight accommodations on St. Thomas.

If I might, I'd like to post ranother request. I'll combine all the questions into one; feel free to answer any or all.

First, we'll be staying at the Westin on St. John. Previous experiences at larger establishments suggests that food there will be expensive. Also, we like to get out and enjoy the local eatmosphere -- to the extent that it exists in tourist areas. There's also the issue of the 15-year-old son whose taste buds aren't fully developed and barely have time to savor the experience before the food heads to the stomach: Really food food is pretty much wasted on him. So, given that, what dining recommendations might anyone have for St. John, from Cruz Bay restaurants to roadside snack shacks?

How about family-friendly nightlife? I resolutely refuse to allow my wife to retire to the room and spend every night watching ESPN.

Do AT&T cellphones work on the USVI, and is there a surcharge of any kind?

Lastly, as we're driving around, what radio stations play island music? I'll bet you can listen to many from throughout the Caribbean.

TIA.

ATT includes PR and USVI in their national plans, but turn off roaming, because sometimes calls may go out on BVI network.

The best family friendly nightlife is through National Park, Cinnamon Bay camp, and Maho. Check their websites for schedules.

There's a pizza place in Wharfside Village, and they sell by the slice. Joe's BBQ in Cruz Bay is affordable. So is Candi's BBQ on the way to The Marketplace. Starfish Market has good deli and cooked items at good rates. JJs in Cruz Bay is affordable with good tacos and happy hour app specials.

Check http://WWW.sthohnsuntimes.com. They have a cheap eats section.
