Need some advice on planning a family vacation to us virgin islands. some place with plenty of activities for teens, great snorkeling, and good food. does not need to be fancy. also, don't want to break the bank. would rather something small than a huge resort.
thank you

I would check Bolongo Bay hotel on STT 340-775-1800
and Maho Bay / Concordia on STJ 340-776-6226

Sapphire, Pineapple Village and the Anchorage for a few others. You should also check out vrbo.com for private rentals directly from the homeowners. All of them are on the east end of STT with lots of snorkeling and dining options.

I've sent you a PM with information about Water Island. While Water Island stays mostly below the mainstream radar, it makes for a great affordable family oriented vacation destination.

For anyone interested in visiting Water Island, here is a web site to look at that will provide more information and perhaps answer some of your questions:

devlev, we have a vacation rental home on Water Island. Don't know how many people are in your crew. Our home will support up to 8 people. Send me a PM if you have any questions! www.flamingopointusvi.com

Hello Devlev,

Are you undecided on which island you want to visit in the USVI or are you leaning more toward one of the islands? If undecided maybe post a little more on what you want to do, when you were planning to visit, which activities your teens are interested in, what type of vacation you want - what you have in mind.
