My wife was real worried about that ferry ride as she gets sea sick very VERY easly - I'm not sure she has ever NOT gottin sick on water.

Let me say that she was 100% OK - you are so excited at everything they the ferry ride seems to take 5 minutes. It's 100% eye candy and I don't think your brain has time to get yucky.

She still talks about that ride to this day.

It's $4 to StJ and $3 back

Party on StJ??? I thought lights were turned out about 9 LOL

Hello Armani,

The ferry ride is short, easy.

The VI National Park Visitor Center is in Cruz Bay. You could walk to it. In fact there are trails starting in Cruz Bay, so you could start hiking in the park right from there. Now to go to Trunk Bay you would want to take a taxi and yes there are always plenty in Cruz Bay to assist you and typically numerous waiting at Trunk Bay when you need to leave.

You can find ferry rates and schedule under Ferry Schedule at the top of this page. And also taxi rates under each island guide and then choose Taxi Rates.

Point Pleasant is a nice choice for a resort.

Armani:

We stayed at Point Pleasant 3 times (total 4 weeks). We liked it so much that we bought a unit there. It's really a nice place. The view is incredible! Also, great restaurants...the Agave & Fungi's.

Have a great trip!
