Was at Magens today. Talk about crowded! Am normally used to being here in the summer months when the water is calm like a lake and the crowds sparse. Today was totally the opposite. There were all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors. As well as a couple of Speedo violations. Please, if you are 200 pounds overweight ,do not wear Speedo bikini trunks! You will scare the kids and traumatize the elderly!

Weather was changing from sunny to cloudy in the morning with a chance of rain then after 11 or so the sun came out and stayed. Water was in the upper 70s. Wind was steady and waves were about a foot or two at times compared to six inches in the summer.

All in all we had a good time. Just had burgers ($7) and pizza ($2.75per slice) for lunch from the snack shop there. Drinks are a bit pricey. $4 for a Heineken and $7 for Long Island Ice tea. A dad next to us was complaining about paying $12 for two bottled waters, a coke and a Caribe beer and having to add tip. The soda machines at the snack shop wanted $2.25 for a bottle of Coke.

The place was busy and everybody seemed to have a good time.
