Going to be in St. Thomas/John next week. . . Looking for some last minute in-shore fishing for a half-day. Wondering what the rates might be?

You can check right here:

DoubleHeader has an excellent reputation.

Some of the other outfits offer more economical rates.

Thx blu4u:

Very helpful. . . .Would you care to share your insight regarding what outfits are more economical, or are you just taunting me?

Abigail, like Double Header, also runs out of Sapphire and receives good reviews too:

Whatever you decide, enjoy a great week here and hope you catch lots of fish!

Check this thread. The second to last post gives the names of a few outfits.

If you want a great time check out Captain Rick at Swashbucklin tours. He does a half day of inshore fishing but is willing to stay longer if the fishing is slow and he doesn't charge extra. He charged me $125/person. Best deal around. Here is his website:

I checked around and no one could beat his price. My wife and I spent 5 hours on the water and we caught some fish and Rick would have stayed longer but we were ready to head back to port.. It was a great time.

Totally agree with Robere. We went out with Captain Rick at Swashbucklin tours this past Friday. Had a great time and caught 2 large barracuda and about 10 other fish.

We want to go out with him in September for spearfishing.

Highly recommend!
