We are staying on St. J. first week of May. I love golf but need info to decide if Mahogany Bay is worth the time away from the other great activities to make it worth the effort. Also would anyone suggest any fishing charters to catch some local seafood for our dining pleasure.
Thanks,

yes mohogany run is worth it. its recently(within this year) been very well taken care of. im not sure if it changed hands or grounds keeper but its in good shape. as far as fishing... charter "double header" out of saphire beach on sst. thay can pick you up on stj if you would like. they are the best.

Two of my favorite recreational activities. Mahogany run is worth it. And 'ditto' what Lip said about the double header.

This is just my opinion but, other than the Devil's Triangle, it is a very ordinary layout.

Thanks for the info. What type of fish would we be trying to catch and would you recommend eating fish from these waters.

well what you try to catch and eat is up to you. but i would ask the capt. what he suggest you target. he will know whats running and what you have the best chance at landing. however let him know your looking for table fare if thats your objective. that being said i was down in oct. and fished 2 days and caught tons of tuna and wahoo...yummmm
