I will be visiting STJ 3/12-3/19/05 and am interested in going mahi mahi fishing. I am looking for anyone that is also going to maybe split a charter with me. Right now it is just myself.

http://www.visportfishing.com is the website for The Black Pearl. They would be happy to discuss taking you fishing - not sure it can be specifically targeted to be fishing ONLY for mahi mahi, which I'm not even sure appears in our waters?????????????

We catch dolphin ("Mahi mahi" is the name for it after you have cooked it and it's on your plate! Haha!) here pretty regularly. Call 340-777-7317. DoubleHeader is the best. Opt for the 1/2 day trip and goto the South drop. You WILL catch fish! (yellowfin tuna, , black fin tuna, dolphin , wahoo, skip jack, shark (don't go swimming!), triggerfish, and a few others. And you will catch so many that you will be too tired to cook it that night! (He filets the first 20 lbs for you and sells the rest to the restaurants).

You can find 3 others to go with you, as he takes four fishermen(or women), and he only charges $450 for the half day (plus tip). Shoot,I might even go, just cuz it's been a few months since I have gone. Lemme know how many you've got.

Have fun!!
