Hello,

are there any native flowers that can be picked to place on table. Is that allowed on St John at all or is it prohibited. I love flowers, but know at home which native flowers that I can't pick as they are considered endangered.

Bougainvillea stays beautifully without water and can be made into lovely arrangements. I have actually sewn them by hand to a straw hat for carnival and they keep the colors for about four - five days. Hibiscus needs water in a vase but again are lovely on a table.

Oleandar, although the sap can be toxic, are also lovely - come in many colors and smell like cake icing. Also the island gardenia, although it does not smell like you would think the white is simply lovely combined with the others.

Pamela,

thank you. I just wanted to put a small arrangement on our villa dining table for my sons upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner without spending too much. The wedding costs are just adding up and like I said I just love flowers.

barbies,
Not a problem at all! Alamanda does not last long at all, you'll figure out what works and what doesn't. Have a great trip down! When's the wedding?
