Hi all! I know I keep asking the same questions but I am just trying to figure out if I am correct about how long the ferry ride is from STT to Jost for New Years eve...Does anyone know? Are there other faster options also...still trying to decide what to do for New Years Eve and Foxy's is sounding better and better... 🙂

Do you plan on staying all night on JVD new years eve? No ferries that I know of after regular business hours. Maybe a hired water taxi? Also, you have to clear customs!

the ferries run all night. From red hook to jost on new years eve. Bring a passport and photo i.d. You must go thru customs at St John on the way back. The ride over is around 20 min. The ride back will take an hour to an hour and a half, cause of customs. Plan on waiting in line for the return ferry for 2-4 hours with the few thousand other people.

Smith's Ferry
