I'm interested in feedback from anyone who has recently stayed at Gallows Point, especially suites in buildings
5, 6, 7 or 8. Also, what's the St. John weather like in mid-February? Thanks!

My husband and I stayed in building 6 two years ago and building 4 last year. Both were upper level ocean view. In building 6 we were on the right side. I think it was 6D. It was ok. Could've used new paint. We could see that the room next to ours was newly redone. Probably 6C. The view was phenomenal! Last year we were in 4C (left side this time). Much better.
We enjoy Gallows. Fantastic views of the islands. Sunset every night. Dinky pool, but great snorkeling right off of the property. Easy walk to downtown Cruz Bay.

Mu husband and I loved Gallows Point. We stayed in a Upper level one, but I can't remember the exact one. I think it was 4C. That was last year in June. I agree with snorkelgirl. The grounds are nice and the walk to town is short. We also walked to Honeymoon beach one day. It was quite a hike in the heat, but I liked it. I definitely recommend Gallows point. It is best for couples only. There is one bedroom.

There are lots of reviews, including mine, of Gallow's Point, many with pictures on TripAdvisor.com. We absolutely LOVED staying there for many reasons but the quality of the furnishings can vary greatly from condo to condo since they are individually owned. 15D was wonderful and so was 1C. We rented through Suite St. John instead of directly through Gallow's for 15D, but 1C is booked through the resort directly and Crystal is very helpful with the reservations, etc. Suite St. John, a rental company, takes care of renting some of the condos and Gallow's rents the others directly. Has to do with an owners association that some of them belong to, I think. If you want to see lots of pictures and read about different individual condos definitely look at TripAdvisor.com. I ALWAYS check that sight for any destination before booking.

Stayed there recently for the locals rate of $149. Great place and nice to be able to stumble home instead of rushing to catch the ferry back to STT.
We had 7D and 11D. 7D was an upper level unit with views of STT. Beautiful unit, plenty of room. Bed could use replacing in both units but can't have it all.

Actually, Suite St John owns the condos that they themselves rent. All services, however, are handled directly Gallows Point.

Crystal is fantastic as is Anna and the rest of the crew.

Hey ECPirate
Was 11D upper or lower? We are staying that building in October. Will be in a lower level unit. Never been on that side of the resort or in a lower level. Besides not liking the bed, how was the unit and the view??
Thanks

11D was an upper unit and I liked the view of Cruz Bay. We gave the other view to our relatives that were visiting. Figured they would like to look at STT. The unit was in good shape and was very spacious. The bed was not miserable by any stretch but the wife and I are more Heavenly Bed types.

We also have stayed in 9C and it was comfortable and had a nice view but my only small complaint would be that it needed updating as far as linens and upholstery. It was just not as nice as 15D or 1C but honestly, we were in our room for limited times because we wanted to be on the gorgeous beaches or in town having dinner!
