Is there a ferry to Nanny Cay? If so, how much is it and is there a web site? I am looking at a sailboat there to charter. I plan on coming down in JULY from FL.
PS I LOVE this forum...I lived in STX from 1981-84 and plan on coming back for good in a few years!!

Nanny Cay is about probably halfway between RoadTown and West End on Tortola. You can check the ferry schedules on this site for ferrys between St. Thomas and Tortola if you are flying into STT. Otherwise, you might consider switching in SanJuan to a flight to EIS. The http://traveltalkonline.com/forums/ubbthreads.php for the BVI's is a very active spot for loads of information by the bareboaters and yachties out of Tortola.

I think the best way to Nanny Cay is to take the STT ferry to West End, Tortola--I think you have to leave from Red Hook to have this option. From West End Nanny Cay is probably a five minute taxi or car ride. Taking the ferry to Roadtown works too but Roadtown is farther away. Beef Island (the airport if you fly in) is even farther than Roadtown from Nanny Cay, and given the expense and time (check in, waiting, limited flight times) involved in flying, I'd say ferry from STT is the best option.
