I've never felt anything there, but it is a funny kind of a place and there is a lot of history. I found this article interesting:

Thanks. That's interesting. I've been to other islands where there seems more of a visible sense of the older beliefs, but always wondered about STJ or the other VI. The mocko jumbies came from somewhere, but they seem more entertainment now.
