Hey, I just wanted to say,"see ya later" to everyone. I'm going back to Minneapolis for a while(no one ever truly leaves STJ). I have family issues and its just a good time to go back. I haven't locked up a new job in the Twin Cities area yet but I'll be looking hard n the next few weeks when I get there. My sous chef Tim is taking over for me at Chloes and he is a very strong chef. I am excited that I am leaving the restaurant in very strong and capable hands. Thank you for all your support through the last few years and I will still be on the board.
Thanks again,
Chris

Chris...
You're not the only Minnesotan among us...let us know where you end up.

Enjoy the return to four real seasons - including the beautiful, crisp fall days and the autumn colors, seeing your breath, hearing the ground crunch underfoot as you walk across the frost, the wonder of the season's first snowfall. Then, of course, the frigid chill of deep winter...the reason so many of us look forward to our oh so short, yet wonderful visits to the islands.

Plus, you'll be back for the end of the Twins season (will they ever win again this year) and the beginning of yet another Vikings season filled with high expectations - surely, to be dashed again.

Welcome back.

Chris-

You'll be missed. I remember your family going through some really rough times. I hope you'll continue to stay in touch via these boards.

Chris, I was in the lobby of the Westin this past Friday and was going to ask the front desk if you were somehow upstairs. I didn't, now I more sorry than ever since you're leaving and we didn't get a chance to shake hands.

Best of luck - my destination should I pull out of here would be St.Paul.........so who knows where live leads.

Be well.

Hey Chris. I guess its a welcome back to MN. I work in Minneapolis, you've come back after our hot spell, this summer the heat and humidity gave us all up here a taste of the tropics.

To all the other Minnesotans/Wisconsinites... looks like Kansas City isn't the only city to have a large VINOW contingent. We'll all have to get together for a round of boat drinks this winter. (Maybe where Chris lands a job???)

later
Matt

Hey, if there any Minnesota connections, give me a line. I need a nice place to put out some good food in the Minneapolis area. If I find a place, sure I'll host it. The Minnesota-Virgin Island connection is in the house!
