We want to take our 17YO daughter with us early winter to the islands because she really wants to be unique with her senior pictures & have them taken somewhere besides Wisconsin!!
I'm thinking that there are High School seniors in St. Thomas that have to have their pictures taken too!
Any one know of local photographers that do school pictures?

There may be but I can't think of any that specialize in school photos. Choose a good photographer for a private photo shoot at a location on St. Thomas that you think is very scenic. You might use the opportunity to get some professional family photos too... unless of course your daughter doesn't want to share the spotlight of her high school senior photo shoot in the islands! 😉

Personally....I'd rather hang a poster & have her stand in front of it for a picture!! I KNOW it would be a whole lot cheaper too!
If you are going to St John try Tony Scimeca he charges $300 for an hour, and if you are on St Thomas you could try Louis Lucas.
I think $300 is ridiculous, and this is coming from a local photographer. I'd be happy to take the images if you come over to St. John. Please email me if you like. I work full time for the National Park but occassionally shoot for events and weddings and portraits. My work can be seen at Caneel, Syzergy, and the Art's Association. We rented a condo on St. Thomas from a lady named Julianna who is a professional photographer. She is also a wedding coordinator so she would know scenic places to have the photos taken as well.

Tony Scimeca is an excellent St. John photographer who has done school pictures for most of the schools on St. Thomas and St. John for many years.
On St. Thomas, a great photographer is Tom Boyd of Carib Photography. He does a lot of weddings but is versatile and his work is beautiful.
