Hi, I was married at the GBP in August of 04. I know they were closing the following week. Are there any signs of reopening it ? I was wondering waht was going on there. I stayed there before when it was the renaissance and i was sad to see it close. I loved the location ~ so close to Coki ... I have also stayed at Crystal Cove, but i prefered the location of the GBP. What's going on?? We are palnning another trip but i don't know where to stay, I would love any info ;o) THANKS ~ Jeanne

Hello Jeanne,

What about Secret Harbor or maybe Elysian for a new place to stay.

Secret Harbor is a great place to stay! I used to be the sales manager at the Elysian, and I would recommend SH over it.

Sadly, there are no public plans for the Ren/BGP to re-open at this time.
