Hi, All.

I asked a few question about vacation on VI a few months back, but had to move my plans cause of work, I'm ready to bathe in sun now and I've been looking at a lot of villas again on St. Thomas and St. John for 4 people. for June 27 - July 5th week
It looks like St. Thomas is almost sold out 🙁 So I started looking at St. John and it has a lot of houses available.

It looks like guys from http://www.windspree.com/homes/ manage a lot of villas there. I was just wondering if anyone has rented through them and what kind of experience you had? Bad / good?

Thank you

My husband and I rented Villa Lille Paradis on St John through Windspree in November 2007. We had some questions prior to making our choice which were answered quickly and completely by email. They were friendly, made sure that we were comfortable and happy in the villa, and followed up with a survey of our experience. I can certainly recommend them. Good luck in finding the right place for you on St John and enjoy your visit there.

Went last month and we love STJ. You probably already saw the Trip Report, but I am a big fan of Catered To rentals. However all of them provide a good service or they would not be in business - it is a very competitive industry. We have always had excellent dealings with Tyler and the folks at Catered To .

Windspree specializes in villas on the Coral Bay side of the island. I love Coral Bay and that's where we like to stay, but many people prefer to be closer to Cruz Bay ('town') for more restaurants and shopping. As posted above, there are many villa management firms; there are also many villas available on vrbo.com.

The island is small enough that in many ways it doesn't really matter which part of the island you stay on. But if you want to read a bit about the different areas, here's a link with some info. www.caribbeanvilla.com/map/stjohn_locations.html That way, when you read a description that mentions 'Chocolate Hole' or 'Cruz Bay', etc., you'll know what they mean.

You could try McLaughlin Anderson for villas both in STT and STJ. They are located in STT.
Just a suggestion. Hope it can help you some! Regargless, happy searching! (tu)
