My Fiance and I are planning on getting married in St. John. We are wondering if there is any way you can get married on the island for less than $400.00? All we really need is someone who can spend about fifteen minutes with us to make it legal. It is just the two of us eloping and we don't really need the bells and whistles, just the officiant and witnesses. Any ideas?

Remember that you will have to apply for your license and mail it in to the courthouse in St Thomas. Bot the bride and groom have to be present to pick it up on STT and if you will need to file it back with the court and they will mail you your marriage certificate. Take that into account when you are looking at prices, some officiants will handle the second part for you, making it much easier. You will have to pay $100 for the license to the Territory.

It is a small island, just do a google search on St john wedding officiant, you will find a couple more, but not too many.
