I just read in another forum about Chilly Billy's reopening. What's the scoop? We'll probably miss out, as we land in just over a week, and I know how slowly things tend to take. I was a big fan of C.B.'s , hopefully it'll be much like it used to be...

Yep!

Chilly Billy's will be back opening up under new mgmt next month some time.

The Front Yard will be closing down and the owner is taking over the space upstairs there. He wants to be open 22 hours a day.

They plan to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a late night thing going on.

Thanks, Mat. Looks like we'll miss it this trip, but good to know.

Ya, Mat has the scoop. I spoke with Mrs. Front Yard in March after skanking late into the night to The Supervillains at the Front Yard. She mentioned that they were going to build a new commercial space on the current lot. The close after one last J'ourvet this July 4 holiday. Opening date, name and operating hours of the new place were still up in the air. But, definitely breakfast. No room for pool tables.

I like that location and it would be a great spot for a small bar too. It's fun to watch things come and go from the vantage point.

Cheers, RickG
