Sue:
Just wondering if you went for your daysail on Calypso. I remember you posting that you had that planned and also that you rented your villa thru Carefree.

We are going for our daysail on Calypso and also renting thru Carefree. We leave in 39 days! I'm so excited I can barely stand it.

Just wondering how it went!

Obviously I am still in withdrawal - as I am responding at 11:30PM.

The Calypso trip went very well for the most part.

The catamaran was really good size & very comfortable! The crew was really good & for those who wanted - the drinks kept flowing all day.

They stopped to snorkel off of Henley Cay - it was pretty good. Then they served breads & fruits. Very nice.

Placed our lunch order before we arrived on Jost at Foxy's. The only down part in the trip was that another boat arrived there just before us & it must have taken at least 45 minutes for our lunch to be ready - then we were kind of rushed to complete it - because we were behind schedule leaving for White Bay. Also, sad to say - no Foxy to serenade us - so, truthfully - it kind of felt like a "wasted" stop. - Lunch was good - but, probably would have preferred to just head to White Bay (if no Foxy and due to the really slow food service).

White Bay is as gorgeous as it was last year - Painkiller from Soggy's still good! - But, you must remember that the best part of White Bay, in our opinion - is the opportunity to maybe see Seddy Callwood (Foxy's son) at Seddy's bar, One Love Bar.

When you get off the boat, grab a painkiller at Soggy's then head right on down the beach & if you are lucky, like we were, Seddy will be there - singing great reggae tunes. For us, it was a nice consulation prize for not seeing his dad. Just wish that we had spent more time checking him out as soon as we got on White Bay. So, heads up to you!

Carefree Getaways couldn't have been more efficient! Loved our villa - loved St. John Car Rental - loved our trip!

Trip report to follow soon!

Lucky you - you are still counting down the days! We have begun the process again - and are now counting down the "weeks" til next April (can't count the "days" the number would be toooo high)!

Thanks so much for your response. Sounds like we're in for a great experience. Thanks for the heads up on One Love. I'm sure we'll start planning our next trip before this one is even over!
